TRANSPORTATION

FROM BENITO JUAREZ AIRPORT (Airport code: MEX)
There are carriers who will offer to carry your luggage. This is a service authorized by the airport and is safe - they will be uniformed with white shirts, navy blue tie and dark blue pants. There is no fixed price for this service, but 15-30 pesos should be fine, unless you are traveling in a group or have a lot of bags.

TAXI
10-15 $US - Transportación Terrestre cabs are white, yellow, and black airplane stickers on the doors, for which you can buy a ticket in the marked counters inside the airport. An alternative, less costly service is located outside of Gate D. The taxis are green Volkswagen beetles with the right front seat removed.

METRO
10 UScents – 2 pesos each ride. You will be at the TERMINAL AEREA stop on the #5 (yellow) line. Look for the large M for the entrance next to the domestic flights terminal and to the left when coming out of the international arrivals hall. It gets EXTREMELY crowded, particularly during rush hours, so may not be advisable with luggage.
